The Cric in a Box™ is a portable task trainer, perfect for practicing your skills with cricothyrotomy devices.
The Cric in a Box™ incorporates the clinical landmarks of the Hyoid, Thyroid, and Cricoid cartilages. In addition, the tracheal rings provide tactile confirmation of successful placement.
This part task trainer provides a realistic feeling for training to perform a cricothyrotomy. It comes with simulated skin and membranes that allow the trainee to practice surgical incisions required to establish an emergency airway.
The simulated trachea has interior rings to provide tactile feedback when probed. It is constructed of a tough, yet flexible composite that allows the use of a tracheal hook. The Cric in a Box™ comes with 5 non-bleeding neck skins and 25 membranes.
