High-energy laser light is known to cause damage to ocular tissues such as the cornea, lens, or retina if shined directly in the eye. When used improperly, lasers and laser pointers have a great potential risk for eye injury and vision loss. To mitigate this potential injury, Wiley X has developed a versatile, interchangable insert lens (much like prescription eye wear) that protects against laser interference and damage. The PTX Laser Lens Insert offers a broad spectrum of protection including: Ultra Violet, Blue, and the most common Green lasers.*

The PTX Laser Lens Inserts are durable and compatible with several lines of the Wiley X ballistic eyewear (any that utilize the PTX connection system).
