Operation Giveback

The North American Rescue Foundation was established by North American Rescue and Robert Castellani to support and promote non-profit organizations (501(c)(3) corporations) that provide specific assistance to our military personnel and customer population in times of need.

A symbol of good will and hope, North American Rescue Foundation has donated more than $15,000,000 over the last 8 years, without one penny being used for overhead purposes. The Foundation has become an invaluable platform for us to inform our customers about resources available to support their families.

Many of our employees and their family members have served our country bravely. North American Rescue Foundation is our way of showing our appreciation in a sincere and significant way. It is our hope that by serving as a positive corporate role model, we can encourage other industry-related businesses to become involved personally and financially in charitable giving. We are humbled and thankful for the overwhelming support with which we’ve been blessed.

Listed below are a few organizations that North American Rescue Foundation supports:

The United States Special Operations Command Care Coalition

“Our mission is to provide Special Operations Warriors and their families a model advocacy program in order to enhance their quality of life and strengthen Special Operations readiness.” They have an excellent website that has a list of multiple organizations to whom you may donate. The program is run by active duty personnel whose mission is to support the service members and their families.

USARA cooperates with the Ranger Veteran associations of the Ranger Battalions of WWII, Merrill’s Marauders, the Ranger Infantry Companies (Airborne) of the Korean War, the LRRP, LRP, Rangers, and Ranger Advisors of the Vietnam War, and other recognized Special Operations associations. USARA conducts national and regional events, with the Annual Ranger Muster being the highlight of the year.

Marine Corps-Law Enforcement Foundation

The Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation was formed on January 2, 1995 by former Marines and law enforcement personnel who strongly believe that our nation’s most precious resource is its youth. Therefore, we encourage the spiritual, moral, intellectual and physical development of children through education. The Foundation has distributed aid with a value of more than $21,000,000 to eligible children. This assistance was rendered to children of Marines or Federal law enforcement personnel who were killed on duty or died under extraordinary circumstances while serving our country at home or abroad.

Operation Comfort

Operation Comfort coordinates donations (including money, goods and services) to provide comfortable and rehabilitative living room areas as well as family waiting rooms for service personnel being treated in the burn and orthopedic units at Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, Texas. Operation Comfort was started by Janis Roznowski, an American Airlines flight attendant who was part of a team transporting soldiers to and from the Middle East. “Having had the great experience of being in the presence of some of the bravest men and women I have ever met makes me realize that we can never do enough for them,” Janis says. “I believe that our military men and women are truly our nation’s National Treasure. Now that they are wounded, we must do what we can for them.”
